The indigenous people and European settlers lived in certain communities because once the Europeans came to the indigenous people's land they believed that whoever claimed the land it’s now their property and they own it.

By using the environment to grow crops to eat and working together by having different parts to help each other survive.

The settlers helped our community grow by offering weapons that allows us to hunt better, helping each other with sharing the land, making treaties that allows us to make agreements, and making beaver pelts that allowed us to get supplies that helps us during our life journey.

The features of our community contribute to its name Canada because according to the Government of Canada our name came from the Huron-Irqios of the word Kanata meaning village or settlements.

By working together and discussing problems with each other to make it easier to communicate.

The indigenous and settlers made treaties like a contract to make an agreement of what they can do or not do.

The dirt is not useable so they had to move to different grow crops for food.

A fundamental belief that the indigenous people believed in was that there was a creator who made all of the lands and cared for the people who lived in it.
