What is the transition process?
This process is done when it is determined that a consumer is working towards discharge. It involves professional and natural supports and a copy of the plan is provided to the consumer/guardian.

How should IFS employees respond to Subpoenas, Search Warrants and other legal actions?
If an employee receives a subpoena for IFS related business they should immediately contact the Clinical Director and/or Administrative Director before providing any information to law enforcement or the court to ensure HIPPA compliance.

How does HIPAA dictate the cleanliness of your desk?
You should never have clients' identifying information out on your desk if you are not there. All consumer information should be secured in a locked drawer when leaving your office and never hold a meeting at your desk if these materials are not removed.

IFS has participated in can food drives, Relay for Life in Northampton County, sponsored road side cleanup in Pitt County, and little league teams.
