Senate committee action- Committee comes together with proponents and opponents testifying. 4. Senate calendar- Comes out, rarely in order, needs majority senate vote to move to the floor. 5. Senate floor- Senators introduce the bill in its entirety and a vote is put in place in case of a tie 6. Introduction to the house- Representative do the same with the bill 7. Assignment to a committee- Speaker of the house assigns the committee 8. House committee action 9. House calendar 10. House floor 11.
