What is the proper way to handle employee injuries?
All employee injuries must be reported to Jane or Sara within 24 hours. Each injury requires an Employee Incident report. Do not complete a NETS report for employee injuries. In the event of a needle stick, if it’s a dirty needle, the patient will also need their labs drawn, so DO NOT release the patient from the clinic. Be sure to page the Corporate Health Nurse for further instructions.
