Born in Italy in 1347. She wrote a book called the Dialogue which she dictated while in ecstasy. She influenced many people in her time, including convincing the Pope to leave Avignon and return to Rome. Her feast day is April 29th.

A Roman soldier who converted to Christianity. He was shot full of arrows but survived and was later martyred.

Born in Lima, Peru in 1579. He was the child of an African mother and a Spanish father. He Suffered mistreatment because of his mixed race, even in his own order, but responded with live and forgiveness. He could heal people and communicate with animals.

A French teenage who heard the voice of saints commanding her to liberate her country from the English. She led the French army in several victorious battles but was captured and burned at the stake.

The only female Judge. Rendered her judgements under a palm tree. Inspired the Israelites to victory against the Canaanites.

Who is Sister Lucia?
The oldest of three children to whom our Lady appeared in Portugal in 1917. She is the only one of the three who survived into adulthood. She became a nun and died in 2005.
