What is SAGE?
This program is considered an out-patient mental health program. It consists of CMs, psychiatrists, and nurses and serves adults over the age of 18 with obtaining and maintaining housing, improving clinical and social stability, and encouraging their level of independence and self-sufficiency

This is the resource we can use to assist us with low-acuity illnesses and injuries when we don't believe calling 911 is appropriate.

What is an Extraordinary Occurrence Report - this is the form we fill out in the event of major assaults, staff injury, client injury, overdose, death, medication error, auto accident, fire, major flood, significant property damage, and lost/stolen property.

This is the phone that you call when an emergency happens on shift, or when you call out sick.

What are Designated Crisis Responders - are the people who come to assess clients that we believe are a danger to themselves or others, and need to be detained for MH or SUD purposes. This is also the term we use at DESC to refer to the process of having someone detained involuntarily.

This is a homeless assistance approach that prioritizes providing permanent housing to people experiencing homelessness, thus ending their homelessness and serving as a platform from which they can pursue personal goals and improve their quality of life.
