In Manitoba we have relationships with Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Center, Frontier School Division, and 5 of the 7 tribal councils to promote HSK in First Nation schools across MB.
As of February in MB, there are over 90 educators working with more than 4,300 Indigenous youth using this program.

ASU planning and coordinating meetings are being held to advance both the building design and the care pathways.
This critical component of coordinated stroke care has been absent in MB, but gov't commitment is now in place and work is underway to implement one that will feature 28 beds.

This Heart & Stroke spokesperson was featured in the 2018 Ms.Understood report, sits on our women's heart health research network and promotes a wholistic approach to heart health that incorporates culture knowledge and family bonds.
