What is trusting
Brutus was naive in not knowing the true intent of the people he trusted. He believed that all men were honorable and stayed true to their word. In Act 2, Scene 1, Page 2, Lucius says,¨ I found this paper, thus sealed up.¨ This is one of the letters that Cassius sent to Brutus to try to sway him into joining the conspiracy. This action showed that Cassius was not to be trusted.

What is a Roman general
Brutus was a Roman General in Julius Caesar. He was noble and honorable. In Act 5, Scene 5, Page 5, Marc Antony says,¨This was the noblest Roman of them all.¨

What is the people of Rome looked up to Brutus
Brutus was loved by many people in Rome. In Act 3, Scene 2, Page 3, someone says,¨We´ll bring him to his house with shouts and clamors.¨ The quote shows that many people in Rome looked up to Brutus, even after he killed Caesar.

What is letting Marc Antony speak at the funeral
Brutus trusted Marc Antony to speak at Caesar´s funeral, which was a major factor in Brutus´s downfall. Antony rallies the people of Rome against the conspirators with his speech. They say,¨We´ll burn the house of Brutus.¨ (Act 3, Scene 2, Page 10)

What is he does everything out of honor
Brutus holds honor above everything. Every action Brutus takes is out of his love for Rome. Brutus says in one of his speeches, ¨Believe me for mine honor, and have respect to mine honor that you may believe.¨(Act 3, Scene 2, Page 1) He also says,¨not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more.¨

What is the people wanted to crown him
After Brutus delivers his speech in Act 3, a commoner
says,¨Caesar´s better parts will be crowned in Brutus.¨ (Act 3, Scene 2, Page 3) This quote shows that the people of Rome wanted Brutus to be their leader.

What is he decided against killing Marc Antony
Brutus decided not to kill Marc Antony because he believes it is too bloody. He says,¨He´ll be as useless as Caesar´s arm after Caesar´s head is cut off.¨ (Act 2, Scene 1, Page 8) Failing to kill Marc Antony led to Brutus´s downfall because after Caesar was killled, Marc Antony turned the people of Rome against the conspirators.

What is guilt?
Brutus is torn between being Caesar´s friend and the general good of Rome. Portia says,¨No my Brutus. You have some sick offense within your mind.¨ (Act 2, Scene 1, Page 12) Brutus makes himself sick trying to decide what the best thing to do is.

What is he shows us his scared side
Brutus makes us pity him when he shows us his scared side. When he sees Caesar´s ghost he freaks out. He asks,¨Why did you cry out in your sleep?¨ (Act 4, Scene 3, Page 16) Even though Lucius was asleep while the ghost came, Brutus is trying to find a reason for what he saw.

What is Portia
Telling Portia about the conspiracy caused her to worry about Brutus. She ending up committing suicide because of the worry. Brutus says,¨With this she fell distract, and her attendants absent, swallowed fire.¨ (Act 4, Scene 3) Losing Portia ultimately led to
Brutus´s suicide because he lost someone he loved dearly.

What is he is attacked
Once the common people found out Brutus lied to them, they attack him at their will. In Act 3, Scene 2, Page 9, the common people say,¨Revenge! About! Seek! Burn! Fire! Kill! Slay! Let not a traitor live!¨

What is killing Caesar?
Brutus creates fear by stabbing Caesar. Obviously stabbing someone is never peaceful, so Brutus gains fear by killing his peer. Caesar famously states,¨Et tu Brute?¨ He is shocked that the noble Brutus would stab him.

What is when Caesar´s ghost appeared to him
Brutus realized he made a mistake in killing Caesar when Caesar´s ghost appeared to him. He says,¨I know my hour is come.¨ (Act 5, Scene 5, Page 2) Brutus believes that the ghost is an omen confirming his mistake and decided his time has come.

what is suicide?
Brutus ultimately decides to kill himself. His guilt and grief were overwhelming. He also knew that if he was taken prisoner, he would have been executed and looked down upon. Brutus says,¨ Our enemies have beat us to the pit.¨ (Act 5, Scene 5, Page 2) Brutus chose suicide instead of bearing the shame.

What is selflessness
Brutus proves his selflessness through his patriotism. He acts out of the better of his country instead of himself, putting aside his personal matters.
